A friendly person who, likes animals as we have cats, a pet blue tongue lizard and frogs…..lots of frogs) . it is a fairly quiet household.
There are currently 4 people of various nationalities and ages . There is 1 mature age Australian female, 1 Polish male aged 29 and a Thai mother with 9 year old boy.
Current rent is $225 a week to be paid in advance, plus a security payment of one week which will be returned to you at the end of your stay if everything is OK. The rent includes electricity, internet , use of all equipment etc in kitchen, lounge room etc. It is an old house with a large leafy back garden at the back which provides lots of fruit in season. Eg. Grapes, bananas, strawberries, mulberries etc. If you like gardens or gardening, you will love it. Plenty of pleasant outdoor areas. Table and chairs and barbecue area outside back door, and under a large spreading tree further down the garden are two hammocks for sunny day relaxing. (There is also a cane lounge and arm chair on the front veranda.} The bedroom is approx 4 X 3.5metres with a large window looking onto the front veranda. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. It is a 4 bedroom house with a pleasant warm atmosphere. It has a large lounge room , separate dining room, kitchen and bathroom, 2 separate toilets and laundry with washing machine, It is a quiet residential street right on the border of Dulwich Hill and Hurlstone Park in a safe, friendly area. If you have a bicycle there are several good bicycle paths nearby. Also good parks along the river for walking. Public Transport is very convenient with both bus stop and Hurlstone Park train station only 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes to Central Station by train. The 428 Bus is through Newtown, passed Sydney uni and UTS The light rail station is also only a couple more minutes away. There are several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Dulwich Hill shopping area is 10 minutes walk away and has a supermarket, newsagents, deli, bookshop, pharmacy etc. Also smaller supermarket etc. close to Hurlstone Park station.
