This awesome looking road bike, is Look’s top of the range 695 SR superlight carbon frame built up with America’s flagship Sram Red 10speed group set with Look carbon cranks and a choice of Mavic Ksyrium Elite low profile rims, or Zipp 404 full carbon rims! Advertised price is with the Mavic rims which come with a brand new Sram Red cassette and as new Continental Ultra Race tires. The seat is a Fizik’s saddle and the bars are Zipp Service Course SL’s. Comes with a Look bag with all the original paper work, spacers, tools etc. This is a superlight weight no nonsense race bike (the SR stands for Super Rigid) hand built in France! The frame size is 56 cm (Integrated seat post is adjustable!) and suitable for riders of 175 to 185cm or 5ft9 to 6ft1.
The Look 695 came in two versions, the regular 695 and the 695 SR (Super Rigid) which is 15% stiffer. The 695 SR is also 10% stiffer and 9% lighter than the 595 Ultra. What sets the Look 695 SR apart from the competition is the combination of stiffness/performance and comfort/smoothness. This is accomplished by Look’s Continues Carbon Fiber design with 110 GRS/M2 Super Rigid carbon, which means a single strand of carbon fiber will run all around the head tube along the top tube to the seat post. This frame comes with full carbon drop outs, fully integrated cabling, Look full carbon adjustable stem and an integrated seat post (current height is 82cm from center of crank to top of saddle but this is fully adjustable. Spacers included in sale!) The frame is in very good condition with only a few minor signs of use.
This French frame has been built up with America’s best, Sram Red 10speed with a carbon Look ZED 2 crank (53/39), Sram Force front derailleur and carbon shifters/brake. The chain and cassette (12/28 climbing cassette) are new and will last the distance. The full group set is in top working condition with a few signs of use.
The Mavic Ksyrium Elite’s are high quality wheels with very light rims, bladed spokes and super smooth bearings that handle great on any terrain. The tools to adjust these wheels are included. These wheels run on as new Continental Ultra Race tires with little wear on them. The bike can also be sold with Zipp 404 wheels for 4499. The seat is a comfortable Fizik’s Wing Flex saddle.
