The Emonda SLR frame is the very lightest production frame on the market and Trek’s top of the range frame! These frames are hand built in the USA from Trek’s OCLV 700 series carbon which is probably the best carbon available in the world! Where many bike brands have focused on making more aero frames, Trek has decided to get back to basics and make the lightest and stiffest frame possible resulting in the S, SL and top of the range SLR series, getting ahead of a probable upcoming change in the UCI weight limit rules over the coming months! This SLR 8 has the H2 geometry meaning it’s a higher build giving you a more relaxed (and comfortable) position, a very sensible option for most riders and prefect for climbing! This bike has off-course full integrated cabling and comes with Trek’s carbon slide on seat post, carbon Cane Creek headset, Bontrager RXL stem and carbon Bontrager RXXXL handlebars. The frame has been little used and is apart from a few minor spicks and specks in close to immaculate condition.
This suburb frame comes with Shimano’s flagship Dura Ace 9000 11speed groupset as used by most of the UCI Pro Tour teams! This groupset comes with a compact 50/34 crankset with 175mm crank arms, and 12/28 climbing cassette. The brake calipers are Shimano Dura Ace 9010 direct mount which improve braking performance and are also more aerodynamic! With the full climbing gear and the better brakes this bike will excell both on the climbs and the decent! The full groupset has little wear and barely a mark on it!
The Bontrager RXL wheels are some top of the range low profile rimmed wheels that are lightweight very stiff and perfect for climbing! These wheels are tubeless ready and they retail at 1250 dollars! These wheels run on a set of Continental Grand Prix 4000s tires and the seat is a Bontrager Paradigm carbon railed saddle.
